Rocket Lab is the company that put New Zealand on the space map. Its Electron rocket, launched from the Mahia Peninsula, is one of the most frequently flown small launch vehicles in the world, and the company also builds spacecraft, components and the larger Neutron rocket.
Founded in Auckland in 2006 by Sir Peter Beck, Rocket Lab is Nasdaq-listed, with major manufacturing and launch operations in New Zealand and corporate headquarters in Long Beach, California.
