Halter builds solar-powered smart collars that let farmers shift, contain and monitor their herds without fences or motorbikes. Guided by GPS and gentle sound-and-vibration cues, cows move themselves, unlocking break feeding, precision pasture allocation and around-the-clock health monitoring.

Founded in 2016 by Craig Piggott, a former Rocket Lab engineer, Halter deploys collars across New Zealand, Australia and the United States and raised a large Series E in 2026.
