Akahu is New Zealand’s open finance intermediary: a single API that lets people securely connect their bank accounts to more than 130 government, corporate and fintech services.
Founded in Auckland in 2020 by Josh Daniell, Ben Lynch and Oliver Fawcett, Akahu supports account data, enriched transactions, payment initiation and identity, and is an accredited requestor under New Zealand’s regulated open banking regime.
