We have a long standing tradition of supporting excellence within the wider surveying and spatial communities through a range of services to our members, since 1888. Based in Wellington, Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ) has a network of specialist professional streams and branches, delivering services to members at a local level, including continuing professional development, advocacy, research and development, development of best survey/spatial practice, recognition of excellence and promotion of surveying/spatial career opportunities. In the future we plan to continue expanding, enhancing and supporting the professional skills available to our communities in the surveying and spatial sectors.

The Wellington City Mission's primary operational hub, Whakamaru is a community facility for everyone in the Greater Wellington Region. Whakamaru is home to the Wellington City Mission's network of support services, a Social Supermarket, Craig and Gail's cafe, 35 long-term transitional housing apartments, free laundry/shower facilities, a medical centre operated by Ora Toa and much more.

Kaibosh is the first dedicated food rescue charity for Aotearoa, founded in 2008. We link the food industry with community groups that support people in need ensuring that quality surplus food reaches the people who need it the most. Operating from three food rescue hubs in Poneke (ph 043850825 ), Petone (ph 045891015 ) and Paraparaumu (ph 042608118 ). We rescue food that would otherwise be needlessly discarded, which benefits both our community and our environment.

Kiwi Community Assistance (KCA) helps communities throughout the Greater Wellington region by rescuing surplus food and household goods, and redistributing it to 90 frontline agencies working directly with people in need. What we provide Food that is rescued and donated Clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, etc Whiteware and furniture in good working condition How we do it 1 Collect donations from the drop off points 2 Donations are sorted 3 Agencies place orders 4 Volunteers make up the orders 5 Agencies take orders directly to the recipient
