Mawhitipana Ridge Estate is a single-site vineyard located on Waiheke Island in a sunny coastal valley, producing limited vintages of premium Syrah and Marsanne. Jasper Ridge Estate is located at the east end of New Zealand's Waiheke Island on Cowes Bay Road, near the small coastal settlement of Orapiu, overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. Join us for an outdoor rustic wine tasting experience at our 'Tasting in the Vines' this summer, a unique and rustic experience in the heart of our working vineyard on the Eastern End of Waiheke Island. If you haven't got a car, jump on the new Eastern Explorer hop on hop off bus and discover Jasper Ridge. Taste our 5-star Gold award-winning Rose and limited-edition Syrah, alongside a featured white wine from one of Waiheke Island's finest boutique producers. As an outdoor venue we will close if it is forecast raining or in bad weather. Last orders 30 mins pre-close.

Tuapae is a family and Maori owned vineyard on Waiheke Island. Our focus is on ki uta ki tai as we care for the environment using only organic inputs. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, and we produce Bordeaux style wine. We look forward to sharing curated art, culture and music events with you. Nau mai, haere mai. Tucked away in an amphitheatre setting amongst the vines, Obsidian offers tastings in a relaxed and friendly environment. The cellar door is situated next to a wetland area and vines. Al fresco tastings are often held under the pergola. Our passionate and knowledgeable cellar door staff will take you through the range of Obsidian reserve and estate wines.

Bookings highly recommend for lunch in our restaurant. No booking required for our outside deck area, this is based on a first come, first serve basis. You can also sit under our beautiful olive trees. Limited availability for tastings on Saturdays, also on a first come, first served basis. We work very hard to ensure that every person has a lovely experience with us, this does mean at times we have to say no room and you may have to wait.

We planted our first vines in 1993. Over the next two decades, we explored our farm and analysed the kingdom that lies beneath in search of the best single vineyard locations to one day make world-class wine. Today you'll find no less than 75 vineyards across the farm. We've become well known for our Syrah, Chardonnay, and Waiheke's signature Bordeaux Blends. We also produce a distinctly different Sauvignon Blanc a seriously drinkable Pinot Gris and our (infamous) Rose. The only thing we respect more than our wine is our diverse agricultural land. As well as vineyards you'll see our orchards, olive groves, restored native forests, and beehives. All of this along with our livestock is foraged for our restaurant, a true farm-to-table ethos
