In 2019, My Fried Chicken began as a small ghost kitchen, driven by founder Shaun's mission to bring authentic Korean flavors to Auckland with restaurant-quality standards. As a Korean immigrant with experience in Auckland's hospitality scene, Shaun saw a gap: many restaurants offered fried chicken, but he aimed to bring true Korean quality with top ingredients and refined techniques. Dishes sold out daily from shared kitchens, so by late 2019, we opened in Ponsonby Central. Now a local favorite, we're known for authenticity, creativity, and quality. Committed to sustainability, we use eco-friendly packaging and minimize waste. Our menu respects Korean traditions and embraces modern tastes, inviting all to experience true Korean flavor.
