JKA Waikato was founded in January 2012 with a single goal: to offer safe, fun, and competitive karate to anyone desiring to partake. Our Association strives to provide a structure conducive to fair and safe training. Each year, our committee reviews and evaluates current rules and procedures to ensure we offer each student the best and safest experience. We incorporate any updates adopted by the Japan Karate Association into our JKA Waikato syllabus.
