At Kelly Club Matamata, our programmes are filled with plenty of activities including sports, cooking, art and craft as well as essential free time. We operate during term time before- and after-school and during the school holidays, our flexible payment plans allow same-day booking and cancellation without penalty. Our programme meets the Ministry of Social Development's Standards for Approval for OSCAR programmes, meaning if you qualify, your fees will be subsidised. Our Kelly Club Matamata team are trained in a range of areas including behaviour management techniques, first aid, art and craft activities. We love being part of the community and are proud to support Matamata School.

Central Kids Rawhiti is a well-established kindergarten serving second and third generation families. Relationships are at the heart of all we do. We aspire to be welcoming, respectful and inclusive, fostering a sense of belonging. We welcome parent participation, valuing the partnership between kindergarten and families. Our goal is to create a sense of whanaungatanga and connectedness among the children, whanau, teachers and the wider Matamata community. The open, airy indoor space of the kindergarten is inviting and allows children the freedom to move which supports our strong music and movement programme. Outdoors, we have areas set up for climbing, sliding, swinging, balancing, as well as a very large outdoor grassed space.

New Shoots Childcare Centre | Daycare Matamata Our centre is based in the small community of beautiful Matamata. We offer an encouraging and nurturing environment for all our tamariki and believe in building strong partnerships with our parents/whanau. We recognise and respect that of parents and whanau are our tamariki first kaiako, and build and grow our relationships based on this knowledge. We have a passionate teaching team who love working with children to empower them to develop positive attitudes and knowledge and support a lifelong love of learning. At Central Kids Mill Crescent children enjoy a large outdoor playground, with bikes, water play area, grass area, climbing boxes, slides, swings, mudpit, whare taakaro, and a big sandpit with a water feature. Our spacious outdoor area allows children to lose themselves in their play, to challenge themselves, to take risks and gain confidence. We also have an interactive bird aviary, turtle/fish tank and worm farm which provides opportunities for children to learn about and how to care for a range of birds and animals. We encourage children to be curious and kind with all living things. We have beautiful vege gardens, and are part of the Enviroschools programme, currently working towards our bronze reflection.
