WAITAKERE ARTS is a Not-for-Profit organisation who has been in operation for more than 50 years. We have always encouraged community art and welcome members of the public to visit The Studio, at the historic Corban Estate Arts Centre in Henderson. We are in the business of making and exhibiting art, both for enjoyment and for those who would like to take a more professional approach. Art is inspirational as well as being a cathartic exercise. We offer Open Sessions; Workshops; and Classes in painting, drawing, craft, photography, mixed media, assemblage. We have members who are keen to mentor, so let us know how we can assist. Our Open Sessions are relaxed and very much about open discussion on art and socialising.
