The Reading Room

Private tutoring for children who need to build confidence in reading and/or spelling. After a thorough initial assessment, I will identify the knowledge and skills your child needs explicit instruction in. I will then provide the necessary intervention via one-on-one tutoring in my small reading room (my foyer) based in Amberley, NZ. I also love working with younger children (aged 4 years and above) on pre-reading skills (alphabet identification, letter-sound correspondences, sound pronunciation) in order to build a solid foundation for reading. Online tutoring available in August 2023.
