The Well-Read Gypsy

The Well Read Gypsy is a culmination of two of life's pleasures: the joy of being pampered and feeling your best, and the leisurely escape of reading. We are passionate about hair, and love nothing more than getting lost in the pages of a good book, so we have combined our boutique salon with an independent bookstore to create an experience that provides a welcoming oasis for our customers. We are based in Amberley, North Canterbury: the gateway to the Waipara Wine Valley, close to the rolling shores of Pegasus Bay.
