Whangaruru RFC is a non profit Rugby club that comes from a small Northland east coast rural area in New Zealand, dedicated to the game and supporting our players in reaching their full potential and their goals as rugby players as individuals and as a team. Providing our community with rugby sport opportunities and a sense of community and belonging. We give our community something to look forward to and rugby brings us together, rugby is and will always be a part of our community from the past who have played the game into the future who will play.

Proudly owned and operated by a couple of local surf legends, Mega Surf came to life over 10 years ago but the OG store, formerly known as Rebel Surf Menswear originated in 1986 after one of those said legends, Richard Langdon followed his surf and clothing passion at a young age. Nearly 40 years on, Mega Surf is renowned to be one of the raddest surf ships in the country, stocking quality brands from all around the globe. Mega Surf was created by surfers, for surfers and the friendly staff have extensive knowledge on all the brands and products that are stocked in store - so come in, have a yarn, and meet the crew.

Opening our doors back in 2002 Sportclub is still successfully providing schools and sports teams with all their equipment and clothing needs. Our journey has been educational, exciting and thoroughly rewarding. We love welcoming new clients on board to join our community, we are fueled by people who have a passion for sport.
