Here at The Palms, Whangarei's leading independent lifestyle village, our residents are at the heart of what we do, every day. Formed back in 2006 our goal has always been to create a vibrant environment where retirees feel completely at home, allowing them to enjoy their retirement without any of the normal stresses of owning a home. Independently owned, family business (TBA) The Palms is privately owned by two couples: Colin and Marilyn Parker, along with Daniel and Rochelle Skelton, who live nearby. Because we're independent and have owners living close to hand, we can make decisions quickly. This means we can truly be responsive to the needs and wishes of our residents, and that's what makes us unique.
