The Quarry Arts Centre

The Quarry Arts Centre, Whangarei, is an arts and crafts community space, nestled in a repurposed Quarry beside Pukenui Forest and just 5 mins walk from Whangarei Centre. A centre of excellence for ceramics offering clays, glazes, tools, a kiln service, workroom and classes. Explore fine artworks at the Yvonne Rust Gallery and sculptures around the grounds, among working art studios and community facilities. The ceramics store and gallery are open Mon-Sat. The Quarry Craft Co-op Shop, open 7-days, sells locally made crafts. Te Kowhai Print Trust hosts a significant collection of traditional print technology and provides practice and learning opportunities in the art of printmaking, by appointment.
