The Duncan Pavilion - beachfront venue for private hire and public events

Downstairs are public toilets & changing rooms with cold showers open summer (November to March) - maintained by Whanganui District Council The iconic dodecagon (12 sided) building was built in 1966 and is the only beachfront venue available for hire in the region hosts a wide range of community activity and celebration - everything from weddings, private events, birthday parties, being a "beach school" classroom for local school & kura, band practice and gigs to Council meetings.
