Andy has been building since he left school at 15 years old. I've always since a very young age been building and making things (anything to do work with my hands).
At 12 years old I built a tree house between 3 trees with a floor, walls, roof, deck and even stairs. From that moment I knew what I wanted to be.
13-15 years old I spent most weekends and school holidays helping my uncle build his dream house (which he still lives in). From hand digging footings - tieing steel, to roofing.
At 15 I left school and started work for a local Builder, it was soon then my new boss realised I had some experience. After 6 months with him he tasked me to build a house in Albert Street, Devonport. This is where I learnt most of my trade as a builder.
