Welcome to Island Bay Divers, located on the corner of Reef St and The Parade, Island Bay. We have been operating longer than any other dive shop in Wellington. Let us show you around the area. Shop hours are 9am to 6pm seven days a week for summer. In winter the shop is open 5 days a week - closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Island Bay is one of New Zealand's top dive sites, located in the middle of the capital city, Wellington. It's rocky coastline, bordering the deep clear waters of Cook Strait, provides a habitat for a wide variety of fish species.

New Zealand Sea Adventures was established in 1990 by Tony Howell. From that point NZ Sea Adventures has grown to become the leading PADI SCUBA diving training facility in Wellington. NZ Sea Adventures was awarded the Wellington Regions first PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre rating in 2000. We have twice received prestigious awards from PADI for our 'Outstanding Contribution to the Dive Industry' as well as individual Instructor commendations.
