We love bagels. Always have. And as them wise folk say, do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. So we started a bagel business that would allow us every day to enjoy making them, baking them, spreading them, filling them, eating them and of course preparing them for bagel lovers like yourself!

We're a family-run bakery in Wellington, New Zealand born put of love for baking that turned into a small business during the uncertain times of lockdown. Nestled in the heart of our community, our kitchen is both our sanctuary and our creative workshop

Cafe : 8am - 3:00pm (04 499 1834) Deli : 9:00am - 4:30pm (04 499 1832) Located in the Woolstore building on Thorndon Quay, Le Marche Francais was founded in 2008 with the aim of bringing its customers a genuine French culinary experience. The Bistro, run by Veronique and her team, offers French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the mouth-watering dish of the day, cheese platters, quiches... and fabulous desserts! Veronique also caters for all your needs... Give her a ring to talk about your project. The Deli, run by Maud and her team, will offer the biggest range of cheeses in Wellington! Most of the cheeses are directly imported from France but they have a great selection of cheeses from New Zealand. Have a look at the website!
