Warkworth District Museum

Steeped in history and set in the stunning Parry Kauri Park, Warkworth Museum offers something for everyone. Visitors can learn the story of Warkworth's rich heritage, which is told through the wonderful collections and exhibits. Children love the outside displays, including the old jail, and two US Army huts from World War II. Or, inside they can discover scenes from yesterday including an old classroom, a general store, a blacksmiths or even "the murderhouse." The museum store offers ice creams and cold drinks together with a range of locally crafted items and publications. Parking is easy, safe and secure, and we're just a few minutes drive from the Warkworth town centre.
