Jobs in Central Hawke's Bay is a community led recovery programme which connects the business community with local people who are seeking meaningful employment. The programme provides support with recruitment, training and in work support for both employers and employees. Although this programme has a Youth focus, it is available to assist anyone looking for employment within the community. The programme is funded by the Ministry of Social Development through the Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ). The MTFJ prides itself on being a network of New Zealand Mayors working to ensure all young people and communities have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
