Waihi Tennis Club

We are the local tennis club in Waihi. The Club has been established for over 100 years and became incorporated in 2017. After more than 40 years in a self owned venue we moved to new Council/Trust premises, with brand new Rebound Ace courts in September 2018. The Club offers a junior programme, social team tennis on Tuesday evenings, social tennis on Wednesday mornings, A Grade team tennis Wednesday evenings as well as club days. We have professional coaches for the junior programme and ad hoc adult coaching days. We have a very active voluntary committee who ensure that everything runs efficiently. We also have taken the initiative to run Sunday morning Pickleball sessions, the new game proving very popular throughout the world!
