Chandrakirti Meditation Centre

Chandrakirti Meditation Centre is a rural Tibetan Buddhist centre near Nelson, New Zealand, affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). The Centre provides a peaceful harmonious environment where anyone can learn and practice tools for the mind to develop wisdom, compassion, and happiness in daily life. Most of our teachings and retreats are led by Geshe Jampa Tharchin, who holds the highest Lharampa Geshe degree from decades of study in Sera Je Monastery in India. Geshe-la teaches in English or, for more advanced subjects, with an English translator.
