Roundhill Ski Area

We are a family owned ski field set in the Heart of the Mackenzie Country. With breath-taking views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps Roundhill is renowned for friendly hospitality, fantastic snow and all day sun. Our beginner's area is super wide with a gentle pitch, there are ample intermediate trails with lots of wide open spaces and fun undulating terrain, or if it's deep and steep that you're after the Heritage Express Rope Tow reaches an elevation of 2133m - giving us Australasia's biggest vertical! Parking is slope side so bring your barbecues and deck chairs or you can enjoy some hearty fare in the spacious fully licensed cafe. Our scheduled 2022 operating season is from July 1st to September 18th.
