Pegasus Books is a predominantly secondhand bookshop. We carry a wide variety of books in many subjects, including Classics, Religions, Crafts, New Age, Magick, Children's Books, LGBTQ, Philosophy, Maori, Graphic Novels, Art, Poetry, History, War, NZ subjects and much more. We also carry secondhand vinyls, CDs, gift cards, postcards and more! We can help you find what you're after, offer advice, discuss books, and provide a warm, rich environment (with good music playing) to wile away the time. We regularly hold musical performances and readings on Friday nights at 6, check out our Facebook event page The Fiction Room. We're located in the Left Bank arcade of Cuba Street in Te Aro at the heart of Wellington's cultural district.
