The purpose of the Fiordland Community Garden Charitable Trust is to promote community resilience, environmental awareness, and sustainability through the medium of growing food together. The main activity of the community garden is to provide a place for all generations and abilities, to meet and socialise, in a safe and inspiring environment, and to share knowledge or learn about a common interest. The garden will produce fresh and nutritional food to be distributed in return for volunteered time, a monetary donation based on what you can afford and donated to the local food bank as required. We will provide learning opportunities, particularly beneficial to people experiencing financial hardship.
