Maungaarangi Kindergarten and Whanau Centre

It is a privilege to learn alongside you and your child at Maungaarangi, 'Mountains in the Sky'. Our kindergarten is situated next door to Welcome Bay School and sits on large sloping grounds where our tamariki/children have the opportunity to explore and challenge themselves in a large natural environment. Our vision is 'Awakening Wairua and Growing Leaders', through respectful, responsive, reciprocal relationships promoting life long learning. We believe in intentional teaching, through manakitanga an 'ethic of care', so your child will feel safe and nurtured, building implicit relationships with their peers, teachers and whanau.
