Waipahihi Botanical Reserve

Taupo's tranquil botanical garden reserve - free admission with onsite carparks and loop road access. Stroll through extensive exotic flowering shrubs and trees set against the backdrop of a 34ha native forest in the making. Enjoy the mountain and lake views, native birds, walking trails, picnic tables and open areas. Dogs are welcome, on a leash please. Donations are appreciated, to help with maintenance work carried out by a team of local volunteers.
