Mavericks Gastro Pub

Mavericks Gastropub is Taupo's newest Eatery, Pub and Conference facility. Inspired by the 'Top Gun' movie the interior is 'vintage aviation' including a replica WW2 US Navy Fighter plane hanging from the ceiling (Yes it is real!) 'Mavericks are visionaries who want to achieve what's never been achieved before. They're not fans of the status quo and will shake things up. Mavericks tend to be innovative, influential, daring, and direct--with a remarkably high tolerance for taking chances.' Expect to enjoy a few drinks or a meal with sweeping views of Lake Taupo across to the mountains in the south.
