JobaMatch was first envisaged by Otago Chamber of Commerce CEO, Dougal McGowan in April 2020. His discussion with the InvestaMatch team, as to the hows and whys of finding employment in general, but in particular in a Covid-impacted economy, and given that 70% of roles are not advertised, gave birth to JobaMatch.
Developed in Dunedin, but accessible by JobSeekers and employers throughout New Zealand, the JobaMatch team is turning the recruitment process on its head. The technology behind the JobaMatch platform is the matching concept connecting employers with prospective employees.
JobaMatch does not broker employment agreements, rather provides a meeting place where employers can connect with potential employees.
