In June 2014 The Blacksmith Eatery and Bar opened its doors and welcomed the public. A family owned and operated business with strong ties to South Auckland. The name pays homage to the history of the Takanini area where horses were an integral part of that. Horse training was the life blood of the area. The Blacksmith Eatery and Bar is a great spot for coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner or a refreshing beverage. Well known in the area for our succulent BBQ ribs. Open and spacious with ample heating for those cold winter months and air con to make our warm sticky summer more bearable. Parking is plentiful and our staff are ready and willing to greet you with a warm welcome and a friendly smile.
