I live on a sheep and grain farm in the beautiful Rangitikei. As my job became insecure during the Covid-19 pandemic, it was time to take a new direction. My predecessors remodelled, upcycled and recycled clothes before those words were even a thing, and thanks to those women I have inherited the sewing gene!
Thus Sow & Sew has begun.
I offer a service of hemming, minor alterations and repairs to extend the life of your favourite clothes.
I make a range of fabric goods which are purposeful and make beautiful gifts. My products are grown and sewn here in the unspoilt Rangitikei, sourced locally, and comprise 100% natural fabrics.
