Kia Ora and welcome to Puawai Jade Rotorua. We are specialists in carving authentic New Zealand Pounamu (Jade) into Maori traditional and contemporary adornment and jewellery. Come in and learn about how jade is formed under the earth and the different types of Pounamu we have here in New Zealand. We have jade carvers on site, where you can watch how pendants, sculptures and jade jewellery are made. The gallery offers a range of high-end gold and silver jewellery, adornment, carvings and sculptures made by highly experienced New Zealand artists. New designs feature each month and orders are taken for custom-design pieces. Fixtures, refashionings and rebindings are also available.
