Makotuku Track

Take a leisurely stroll along the scenic Makotuku River walkway in Raetihi. This picturesque walk takes you on a journey through beautiful mature native bush and extensive native plantings. Enjoy the stunning mountain veiws and unique art along the way. Listen for the birdsong in the native bush which is alive with birdlife. The walk is approx. 4km and will take around 1hr 10mins. Multiple entrances give you the option to walk shorter sections of the track. A great family activity and dog friendly too.
