Since 1947, Coronet Peak was New Zealand's 1st commercial ski field & the home of good times. Located just 16km from central Queenstown. In winter (Jun-Sept) the ski area offers a variety of terrain for skiers & snowboarders of any ability. Ski and snowboard lessons & equipment hire is also available on the mountain. Coronet Peak also offers childcare, gondola rides, sledding & a range of food & beverage options. The home of Night Ski, Coronet Peak lights it up 4pm - 9pm every Wednesday & Friday night from late June to early September. In summer (Dec-Mar) the mountain operates the Peak Gondola for epic views at 1649m as well as guided hikes, mountain biking & lunch.
