Dorothy Butler Children's Bookshop - Auckland and online

The Dorothy Butler Children's Bookshop is a much-loved Auckland institution which was started by Dorothy in the 1960s. In 2015 the shop was bought by us, sisters Mary and Helen Wadsworth. Books have been a big part of our lives and we are excited to be part of the great community of people that encourage children and young people to read. We want our shop to be a place of delight for anyone who enters. We hope you feel welcome when you come to browse or buy. As well as a wide range of great quality books for babies to teens, we stock puzzles, games and toys.
