Just Zilch

Just Zilch - food rescue - free store! We rescue surplus food from supermarkets, businesses, farms, and cafes, providing it for free to anyone in need. Everyone is welcome--no ID required, no questions asked. Just bring your own bags and come during our opening hours. While we currently don't have indoor space, you can line up outside, and our volunteers will prepare a tray with food for you to choose from. You can take what you need and leave what you don't. We support an average of 350 people daily, who in turn support over 1,400 people in their homes! We also help more than 100 registered charities and community groups across the Manawatu-Whanganui region. Join us in reducing food waste and supporting our community!
