Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa - Te Tumu Matehuka o Aotearoa

We are a community organisation, based in Otara in South Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. Our overall aim is to prevent diabetes and it's complications. To do this we design and run a range of free programmes (Gardens4Health community gardening, GetWize2Health schools programme, Healthy workplaces, Cook'nkiwi Healthy Eating on a Budget). We also design and produce specialty health promotion/education resources, carry out community based research and evaluation (including design and recruiting), provide workplace experience for students wanting time in community health promotion, and we advocate to reduce inequity and disparity.
