The Otaki Pottery Club on the Kapiti Coast, was established in 1989 by a local group of enthusiastic potters and has grown to be one of New Zealand's most progressive pottery clubs.
The club's aim is to promote the art of pottery and to enable its members and the wider community to participate and enjoy the craft.
The club building has a kitchen/meeting room, a library of books for inspiration and knowledge, which may be borrowed, 2 dedicated classrooms (one for wheel work and the other for hand-building), a workroom for members, an office, a gallery ("Tote Modern"), kiln room, glaze room, clay room and of course toilet facilities.
