What I love most about being an Orthodontist is the end result--if I can help a teenager get a beautiful smile, or maybe they're lacking in self esteem or won't smile, and transform that for them, and give them confidence and a brilliant result, a lovely happy smile at the finish--that's what I love most about my job!.. ...with every patient I imagine I'm treating a member of my own family or a close relative. I'm meticulous but my results speak for themselves - check out the pictures! We're also treating more and more adult patients these days and the technology is incredible! Dr. John trained in NZ, then completed his Orthodontic Specialist training in the UK with a Membership of Orthodontics at Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).

The Tooth Company Orthodontics Smales Farm opened its doors in 2018. The practice was designed by the award winning Herbst architects. The practice is located in the bustling Smales Farm technology park on Aucklands North Shore. The convenient location is located close to many schools and is right in the centre of the North Shore. Dr Tania Hetz is one of only a few orthodontists on the North Shore looking after patients from Devonport, Takapuna, Milford, Birkenhead and beyond.
