NZ Surgery Ltd - Associate Professor Edmund Leung

Edmund is an experienced general and gastrointestinal surgeon. He is one of the few accredited associate professors in surgery by University of Auckland and the only accredited surgical oncologist in New Zealand. Edmund offers comprehensive surgical services from gastroscopy / colonoscopy, all types of keyhole surgery: gallbladder, bowel and hernia operations, skin lesions, general digestive or abdominal issues to anal problems. Edmund is well published in his field, with over 90 peer-reviewed articles. Edmund is an active Surgical Oncology examiner for European Board of Surgery and a training convenor for the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2019, Edmund was the national winner of the British Silver Scalpel Surgeon of the Year.
