Elco Canvas & Heating has been servicing the Taranaki and beyond market since 1962. We repair all types of canvas and PVC products such as waterproof canopies, shade sails, roll-down clear screens, retractable awnings, trampolines, backpacks, packs and bags, horse covers, cow covers, boat covers, tarpaulins, family and hiking tents, purses and handbags, deckchairs, strops, wetsuits and gazebos to name a few! We hire tarpaulins, wedding marquees, commercial display / market gazebos and party canopies for decks. Our history dates back to 1962, when Egmont Leather & Canvas Company Ltd was formed. We occupied a purpose built premises on Courtenay Street. In 1990 Terry and Lynley Knauf bought the company, and abbreviated name to Elco.
