Valmont Coatings, Auckland Facility has been hot-dip galvanizing steel on the North Island since 1963. Featuring a 9.15m x 1.37m x 2.59m galvanizing kettle, we can double dip parts up to 13 metres long.* For parts susceptible to heat distortion or too long for our galvanizing kettle, we offer zinc spray/metallizing. The zinc spraying process applies molten zinc with a handgun applicator, effectively welding the zinc to the article's surface.
Valmont Coatings, Auckland Facility also offers an exclusive duplex coating system which provides even greater protection against corrosion. The process combines the benefits of galvanizing together with industrial painting systems from leading international paint suppliers like PPG and Altex.
