The park is located about halfway between the townships of Taupo and Turangi making it the perfect base to explore the region. We are only 20 minutes' drive from everything Taupo has to offer in summer, yet only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski fields for your winter adventure!

Surrounded by stunning dunes, this beloved Waikato campground is an amazing base to explore from. Motel units are all self-contained. Also, ensuite cabins are also self contained.
