Grava Wines

Grava was founded in 2014. Our well-established vineyard sits on the alluvial soils of the Southern Wairarapa in the heart of the wine-growing region of Martinborough. We produce high quality wines from Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. We make our wines in a small winery in the heart of the Martinborough township. While we're a family of committed New Zealanders, winemaker and viticulturalist Alistair Gardner has spent more than a decade in Spain perfecting his craft. When we found ideal gravelly soils on the Dry River flats of Martinborough, we put our roots down and paid homage to Iberia with our company name.
