Jane Purdue Design

I have always had an interest in art and architecture, and when I started working at Concept Lighting in Auckland I gained experience as a lighting designer, with Richard Ponting teaching me the basics of the practice. I was one of the youngest winners when I won two Illumination Engineering Society of NZ lighting awards, and on the strength of the reference I received from these award winning projects I was hired by a boutique company called Lightplan in London. Its principal was lighting designer John Roberts who specialized in lighting for luxury homes and yachts, and specialist projects - many of them offshore.
