AquaPave(r) Permeable Concrete New Zealand was established by a team of researchers and roadworks engineers 20 years ago in the San Francisco Valley. Our commitment to solving the growing problem of urban flooding and polluted runoff led us to create a surface both strong enough to drive on, yet porous enough to let water pass through it. AquaPave(r) filters contaminants through layers of alkalising basecourse before replenishing precious groundwater supplies. We believe that building cities to mimic the natural environment is essential to future sustainability, and that urbanisation is possible without sealing up our precious soil.
