Cathay Cinemas

Cathay Cinemas has stood on the same site in Kerikeri since 1936 serving the community of Northland. The cinema plays a wide range of film, from mainstream Hollywood Blockbusters to specialty screenings and art house fare. The cinema is attached to the Cafe Cinema a fully licensed bar and restaurant that serves a wide range of coffees, cakes, and has a wide lunch and dinner menu. Our website allows you to b ook tickets, purchase gift cards and make group booking enquiries. Opening hours are indicative. We are open 7 days a week - Mondays we close 4pm - except during school and Christmas holidays when we are open all day. We may open for films earlier than advertised here, we open half an hour before the start of the first feature.
