Aongatete Outdoor Education Centre & Lodge

AOEC is a leading environment centre situated on leased Department of Conservation (DOC) land, in the Kaimai Forest Park surrounded by Native Bush. The centre is managed by the board of the Kaimai Outdoor Centre Incorporated, a non profit organisation. As a non for profit organisation, all profits and donations go towards the improvement of facilities, activities and programmes. Board Members are volunteers and a resident manager is employed to run and take care of the centre.
