Karori Community Garden

Mission: To grow sustainable plants and people. Karori Community Garden is an inclusive group that fosters gardening knowledge, building ties within community, and creating access to food and nature. The garden is on a permaculture journey. Register to become a member or a supporter. Membership rules: 1. Respect for all users of the garden and acknowledgement to Maori as original guardians of the land 2. Indigenous New Zealand plants and creatures are treasures 3. Weeds for some people may be other peoples loved plants 4. No chemical poisons 5. Participation in communal activities is encouraged and this can be small or big across gardening, community and administration tasks
