With a stunning view and surrounded by birdlife, Rata Cafe offers modern Aotearoa New Zealand cuisine with a conscience and a native twist. The ethos here is working with what nature provides to make delicious food and drink that's not only sustainable, but gives back to the earth. Rata Cafe is an important source of income for Zealandia Te Mara a Tane. All proceeds directly benefit the ecosanctuary and help to make its 500-year restoration vision a reality.

We are proud suppliers of Common Good Coffee - fairly traded and tastes amazing. All are profits are reinvested here in Karori and overseas. Gipps St Deli is one of Wellington's leading deli cafes and caterers. We'll cater your special private party, or a corporate event for up to 500 guests, with a selection of beautifully presented dishes all prepared on our own premises using the finest, freshest ingredients. Together with our cafe menu and cabinet dishes, we also offer an excellent range of nutritious fresh and frozen, ready-to-serve takeout meals and soups.
